Synonym:

Special Status: None.

Recognition: A species with oval, succubous leaves, granulose oil bodies, and lanceolate underleaves. Nardia scalaris is very similar but has glistening oil bodies.

Distribution: On soil, widespread but scattered at higher elevations.

Comments: It is important to learn to find the underleaves on these plants; otherwise they will be misidentified.
